Fr. Rafael M Ramirez, S.S.D. is an Affiliate Assistant Professor of Theology at the University of Dallas. He holds advanced degrees including an S.S.D. in Biblical Sciences from the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome, an S.S.L. in Biblical Sciences, and a B.A. in Philosophy from the Pontifical Gregorian University. His teaching focuses on biblical interpretation, Old Testament studies, and liturgical theology.
Research interests include prophetic literature, wisdom traditions in Hosea, and eucharistic theology. His publications engage deeply with Minor Prophets, Pentateuchal texts, and sacramental themes in Early Christian writings. He teaches courses such as 'Understanding the Bible' and 'Introduction to Catholic Biblical Interpretation.'
His scholarly work spans both Spanish and Italian publications, reflecting his expertise in intertextual biblical analysis. Office hours are held in Braniff Graduate Building #132B with regular availability on weekdays.
