Raeann Kyriakou is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at St. Francis College (SFC). Prior to joining SFC in September 2020, she served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at St. John’s University and as a mathematics curriculum advisor at Xaverian High School in Brooklyn. She holds a BA and MA from St. John’s University, followed by an MA and PhD from Columbia University Teachers College.
Her research focuses on the history of mathematics, mathematics education, and pedagogical models in instruction. While no specific awards are listed, her work demonstrates contributions to educational methodologies. She has published in the International Journal for the History of Mathematics Education (2014) and presented at the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics conference (2016).
