Adriannah Rodriguez Sosa is a licensed physical therapist and Senior Adjunct Professor at St. Francis College (SFC), where she teaches courses in Exercise and Movement Science, Health Issues, and Dance & Rhythmic Skills. A 2017 SFC alumna, she holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from NYU. Her clinical career spans over 10 years, specializing in geriatric and pediatric care, orthopedics, cardiopulmonary therapy, wound care, and sports rehabilitation. She has provided therapeutic services globally, including work with Olympic athletes in Trinidad & Tobago and Israel.
Education: DPT from NYU, B.S. in Health Promotions & Science from SFC.
Research interests focus on enhancing mobility and quality of life through interdisciplinary approaches, including adaptive dance for children with physical/cognitive challenges. She volunteers with Dancing Dreams Organization, advocating for inclusive fitness. Her community engagement includes leadership roles in SFC’s Latin American Society, LGBTQ club, Duns Scotus Honors Society, and dance team.
As an educator, she emphasizes hands-on training and holistic patient care, blending clinical expertise with pedagogical innovation.
