Rachel Nitzarim

Rachel Nitzarim is a Lecturer and the Director of Clinical Training at The Chicago School’s College of Professional Psychology, Department of Clinical Psychology, in Chicago, IL.

• Education: Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2015).

Her research focuses on the intersection of social class and psychotherapy outcomes, along with issues related to low-income populations and psychologist training. She has contributed to publications in counseling psychology and psychotherapy-related journals.

Dr. Nitzarim has co-taught courses such as Supervision, Consultation and Professional Issues, History and Systems, and DBT Lite and Intermediate Practicum Seminar. Additionally, she provides psychotherapy services to adolescents, adults, and couples at her private practice, Rosewatter Chicagoland Counseling, PLLC.

Her work bridges academic training and clinical practice, emphasizing competency development and psychodynamically-oriented therapy.
