Dever Kucera

Dr. Dever Kucera is an Assistant Professor in the Clinical Psychology PsyD program at The Chicago School's Washington, D.C. campus. She earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Penn State University in 2022 and holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Virginia (2012). Her research focuses on college student mental health, psychotherapy outcomes, practice-research networks, and mental health policy.

Dr. Kucera has received training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), psychodynamic approaches, mindfulness, and couples therapy. She is licensed as a Psychologist in Maryland and specializes in integrating diverse therapeutic modalities to address complex clinical needs.
