Rachel Morris-Love is a Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy at the University of Northampton, affiliated with the Faculty of Health, Sport and Behavioural Sciences. She serves as the Course Lead for the MSc Physiotherapy (pre-registration) course and oversees the BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy and Degree Apprenticeship programs. Rachel joined the university in 2020, bringing over a decade of NHS experience in neurological physiotherapy.

Rachel’s research focuses on physiotherapy interventions for Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s Disease, emphasizing holistic person-centered care, self-management strategies, and simulation-based learning to enhance clinical preparedness. Her work explores simulated placement environments, student-led leadership projects, and home-based rehabilitation for chronic neurological conditions.
Recent publications highlight her expertise in simulation-based education for clinical readiness (2021–2024) and community-focused initiatives like HCActive (2024) and residential care home engagement (2023). Rachel also leads the physiotherapy practice education team and champions service user and carer engagement across the faculty.
