Rachel Kinnard

Rachel Kinnard is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at ArtCenter College of Design, where she works within the Humanities and Sciences school and Graduate Media Design department. A designer and educator based in Los Angeles, she collaborates with filmmakers, photographers, technologists, and activists to explore intersections of fashion, culture, and technology.

Research interests include sustainable fashion, cultural production, and media design. Her work often addresses environmental impacts of the fashion industry and creative collaborations across disciplines.

Rachel has also taught at California State University Los Angeles and Chapman University, contributing to programs focused on fashion and creative industries. Her background in Atlanta and 12-year experience in New York’s fashion sector inform her interdisciplinary approach.
