Rachel Heathershaw

Rachel Heathershaw is an Associate Professor at the School of Health, Sciences and Society. She completed her nursing training in 1987 and worked extensively in acute medicine and rehabilitation before transitioning to academia in 2010. Her expertise centers on practice-based learning, leadership development, and self-improvement in nursing education.

Research Focus:
Her doctoral work investigated role modeling as a leadership behavior in nursing, aligning with her ongoing contributions to adult nursing curriculum design and Masters-level leadership pedagogy.
