Rachel Cody is an Assistant Clinical Professor and DNP Program Coordinator at Auburn University College of Nursing, where she has worked since June 2022. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Auburn University (2021), a Master of Science in Nursing with an Emergency Nurse Practitioner focus from Vanderbilt University (2014), and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Auburn University (2009).

Dr. Cody's research and professional interests center on Emergency Nursing, Acute Care, and Quality Improvement in clinical settings. Her recent conference presentations highlight her work in Metabolic Syndrome, Euglycemic Diabetic Ketoacidosis, and Traumatic Brain Injury management in emergency departments.
As a certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Emergency Nurse Practitioner, and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Cody maintains active clinical roles while contributing to nursing education through ThriveAP Transition to Practice programs and Clinical Preceptor mentorship at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
