Amanda Ross is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Shenandoah University, located in the Pruitt Health and Life Sciences Building room 161. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Vanderbilt University, a Post-Master’s Certificate in Nurse Practitioner from Vanderbilt University, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Nursing Education from Oakland University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Oakland University.
Her research interests and expertise focus on Emergency Nursing/Medicine and Advanced Heart Failure. She is actively involved with the American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners. Outside academia, she enjoys outdoor activities like kayaking, hiking, and scuba diving, and shares her life with her husband Cody and two dogs, Ava (a white German Shepherd) and Maggie (a Golden Retriever).
