معرفی
Rachel Friesen is an Assistant Professor (CLTA) in the Department of Astronomy & Astrophysics at the University of Toronto. Her research focuses on the early stages of star formation in isolation and clusters, analyzing dense gas structures in molecular clouds using observations from facilities like ALMA. She holds a PhD from the University of Victoria (2009), followed by postdoctoral roles at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) and a Dunlap Fellowship at the Dunlap Institute for Astronomy & Astrophysics (2012–2017). From 2017–2019, she worked as an Assistant Scientist at NRAO before returning to the University of Toronto.
