Dr Rachel Crockett is a Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Stirling. She holds an MSc (2002) and PhD (2008) in Health Psychology from King's College London, with additional training in health and social care. Her academic journey includes a Wellcome Trust POST Fellowship at the Parliamentary Office for Science and Technology and postdoctoral research at King's College London.
Her research focuses on health behavior and self-management of chronic conditions, employing systematic reviews, epidemiological analyses, experiments, and qualitative studies. Key projects include the Living Better with Breast Lymphoedema (LIBBY Project) and Understanding Self-management of Lipoedema. She supervises a PhD student investigating well-being in South African HIV patients.
