Rachel Caroline Adams

Rachel Caroline Adams serves as an Associate Instructor in the Department of English within Western Carolina University's College of Arts and Sciences, supporting the Writing, Rhetoric, and Critical Studies program and Latina/o Studies minor.

Adams' research centers on transnational literary traditions with specialized focus on Latina/o immigrant, first-generation, and diaspora writers, alongside innovative explorations at the intersection of rhetorical theory and social psychology. Her teaching encompasses rhetoric and composition, first-year literature seminars, and 200-level courses dedicated to Latina/o and Latin-American literary traditions.

Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, she now resides in Western North Carolina and maintains her office in Coulter Building 408.
