Joshua Pittman is an Assistant Professor of English Language and Literature at Gardner-Webb University, where he joined in January. His expertise lies in medieval literature, with a focus on theological and philosophical anthropology. Pittman holds a PhD in English from Baylor University and a Master of English from East Carolina University. Originally from eastern North Carolina, he grew up as a missionary child in Turkey.
