Joshua Gardner is a Senior Teaching Instructor in the Department of English at East Carolina University (ECU), where he has been teaching since 2017. Originally an elementary education teacher, he transitioned to postsecondary writing instruction and now advises undergraduate English majors, teaches foundational writing courses, and engages in research related to vegan, queer, and feminist rhetorics.
- Education: B.A. in Elementary Education from University of North Carolina at Charlotte; M.A. in English with a focus on Rhetoric and Composition from ECU.
- Research Interests: Focus on vegan rhetorics, queer rhetorics, feminist rhetorics, cultural rhetorics, and writing pedagogy.
