Rachel Barnes serves as a Teaching and Learning Fellow in Children and Young People's Nursing at the University of Salford's School of Health & Society, where she teaches second-year undergraduate students in the CYP Nursing program. Previously, she worked as a Sister on a tertiary medical ward at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, specializing in pediatric care for respiratory, cardiac, metabolic, endocrine, and rheumatological conditions, and gained one year of experience in oncology/stem cell transplant nursing for young people and adults.
