Rachael Moore is a Senior Lecturer in Secondary Education (History) at the University of Worcester, serving as the PGCE Secondary subject lead for History. With over 17 years in secondary education, she transitioned to a career in ITTE (Information and Communications Technology Teacher Education), where she contributed as a subject mentor for PGCE trainees and managed a successful 'Schools Direct' partnership. She previously held roles as a subject leader for History with an ITTE provider (2014–2018) and as an associate lecturer at the University of Bristol. Her current work includes developing a Holocaust education module with UCL.
Education: BA (Hons) History, PGCE History, Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE). She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Professional training includes Safer Recruitment, Prevent Duty in HE, and Safeguarding Essentials.
Rachael’s research and practice focus on history pedagogy, teacher education, and Holocaust education, emphasizing curriculum design and educational methodology. Her career reflects a deep commitment to mentoring future educators and advancing inclusive, evidence-based teaching practices.
