Raad Nashmi

Dr. Raad Nashmi is a Professor in the Department of Biology at the University of Victoria. His research focuses on understanding nicotinic receptor functions in the central nervous system and their role in neural circuits and nervous system disorders. His lab employs multidisciplinary approaches including whole-cell patch-clamp recordings, confocal imaging, optogenetics, and behavioral analysis.
