Carolyn Houser

Carolyn Houser is a Professor in Neurobiology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and a member of the Brain Research Institute. Her research focuses on neurochemical anatomy, neuronal plasticity, and the role of the GABA neurotransmitter system in central nervous system development and pathology, particularly in epilepsy and neurodegenerative diseases.
