ROSA MARIA MONTES GOYANES

Rosa Maria Montes Goyanes is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Santiago de Compostela, affiliated with the Department of Analytical Chemistry, Nutrition and Bromatology. She contributes to the Institute for Aquatic Research for Global Health (iARCUS) and leads research in the ChromChem group focused on Chromatography and Chemimetry.

• Research Focus: Development of analytical methods for trace compound detection in environmental and food samples, with emphasis on emerging pollutants (EC) and persistent, mobile, toxic substances (PSMT).
• Exposure Studies: Investigates population exposure through metabolite analysis in urine, wastewater, and surface water.
