Prof. Roel Jonkers is a full professor in Neurolinguistics at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Arts. He specializes in aphasia, apraxia of speech, and dementia-related language disorders. His work focuses on diagnostic tools (e.g., DIAS for Apraxia of Speech) and therapies like Speech-Music Therapy for Aphasia (SMTA). He has collaborated on projects such as the Test for Assessing Reference of Time and Frisian language adaptations of diagnostic tools.
