Quincy Armorer is a Lecturer at the Dan School of Drama and Music, part of the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen's University. He holds a background in professional theatre as an actor, director, and administrator. His research interests span arts, performing arts, music, and theater interpretation.
Education: Graduated from Concordia University's Theatre Department, with additional training at the Birmingham Conservatory for Classical Theatre (Stratford Festival).
Professional Experience: Over 20 years in Canadian theatre, including roles at the Stratford Festival, National Arts Centre, Centaur Theatre, and Black Theatre Workshop (BTW). Served as Artistic Director of BTW since 2011, previously as Associate Artistic Director and instructor in their YouthWorks program.
Notable Performances: Orsino in Twelfth Night (NAC), George in Intimate Apparel (Centaur), and Michael in The Adventures of a Black Girl in Search of God (NAC/Centaur/BTW).
