Jill Miriam Rogati is a Per Course Instructor in Theatre at the Adams School of Music and the Arts, Gordon College. She holds an MFA in Actor-Created, Physical Theatre from the London International School of Performing Arts (LISPA) in conjunction with Naropa University, and a B.A. from Gordon College. Her work focuses on physical theatre, movement consulting, and collaborative performance creation, particularly through her theatre company Soap & Rope. She has contributed to numerous productions as a movement consultant and co-director, including Gordon's Twelfth Night and Bacchai.
Jill co-founded the Performance Art Incubator at the Larcom Theatre, providing a platform for artists to showcase and refine works-in-progress. Her company's acclaimed production Whipped Up! is an interactive performance designed for babies and their caregivers, touring venues across the UK and planning an Edinburgh Fringe Festival appearance. She also specializes in puppetry and prop design, blending humor and absurdity into her creative process.
Her professional affiliations include collaborations with Imaginary Beasts Theatre Company and Soap & Rope, where she emphasizes interdisciplinary creativity and community engagement. Jill’s teaching and artistic practice reflect a commitment to movement-based performance, devised theatre, and fostering collaborative environments for artists.
