Quanisha Charles

Quanisha Charles, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of English at North Central College, specializing in English Composition and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). With over 15 years of experience teaching domestically and internationally in South Korea, China, Vietnam, and Lebanon, she focuses on race constructs in English language teaching identity and pedagogy, narratives of Black teachers of English, and intercultural communication.

Her research bridges Critical Race Theory with TESOL, emphasizing transnational Black feminism and equity in education.
