Dr. Qingwu Xue is a Professor and Faculty Fellow in Crop Stress Physiology at Texas A&M University's Department of Soil and Crop Sciences. His research improves crop resilience and resource efficiency in water-limited environments of the Texas High Plains.
Research Focus: Dr. Xue develops strategies to enhance yield, water use efficiency (WUE), and stress tolerance in major crops through interdisciplinary approaches combining physiology, genetics, agronomy, and precision agriculture technologies.
