Dr. Qian Li is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Sustainable Business Operations at Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University. Her research bridges sustainability, finance, and technology, with a focus on corporate social responsibility, sustainable finance, and technological innovation in supply chains.
- Double Bachelor’s in Law and Economics, MSc in Banking and Finance, PhD in Business Ethics and Asset Management
- Former Postdoctoral Researcher at Oxford University’s Economics of Mutuality Lab
Her research explores the empirical links between sustainability and firm financial performance, including projects on:
- Corporate Social Irresponsibility and Shareholder Value
- NGO Activism on Climate Change
- AI and Big Data in Sustainable Finance
- Blockchain in Circular Supply Chains
Recent publications examine blockchain integration in reverse supply chains, Scope 3 emission challenges, and circularity metrics for the built environment. She has received research funding from EPSRC and Cardiff Business School’s Public Value Engagement Fellowship.
