Puvanendran Tharmanathan is a Senior Research Fellow and Associate Professor at the University of York, affiliated with the York Trials Unit within the School of Health Sciences. He is a pharmacist with expertise in drug optimisation, antimicrobial resistance, and methodological innovations in clinical trials. As co-investigator on multidisciplinary studies, he contributes to trials within cohorts (TwIC), evidence synthesis, and trial design.
