Professor Priti Parikh is Director of the Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction (BSSC) at University College London, overseeing 100 staff, 100 honoraries, 100 PGRs, and 700 MSc students. She holds the Senior Research Chair co-funded by BBOXX and Royal Academy of Engineering for her work on Smart Solar Solutions for resource-challenged communities.

Research Focus: Parikh specializes in infrastructure planning for resource-constrained urban and rural settings in South Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Her work bridges Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1 (No Poverty), 6 (Clean Water), 7 (Affordable Energy), 11 (Sustainable Cities), and 13 (Climate Action) through interdisciplinary approaches integrating engineering, public health, and policy analysis.
Scientific Recognition: Honored as Top 50 Women in Engineering (2022), recipient of UCL Sustainability Research Award and Provost Education Award. She co-leads the Engineering for International Development Research Centre, which examines infrastructure-climate change linkages.
Teaching Contributions: Founded the MSc in Engineering for International Development curriculum focusing on systems thinking, societal impacts, and sustainability. Supervises collaborative projects with international scope and developed key modules like Engineering and International Development.
