Prerna Varma is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at Monash University's School of Psychological Sciences, affiliated with the Turner Institute for Brain & Mental Health. She specializes in designing personalized sleep health interventions for underserved populations, particularly focusing on shift workers, caregivers, and culturally diverse communities. Her current projects include developing the SleepSync digital health tool for shift workers in healthcare and defense sectors, and co-designing sleep interventions for individuals with dementia and their care partners.
