Dr. Prerna Masih is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology at the University of West Florida's Hal Marcus College of Science and Engineering. She specializes in biochemistry and cell biology with research focusing on developing novel therapeutic agents including antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer compounds. Her interdisciplinary approach integrates microbiology, biochemistry, structural biology, pharmacology, cell biology, organic chemistry, and computational biology.
