Dr. Praveen Kumar Jaiswal is an Assistant Instructor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, specializing in the Division of Hematology and Oncology. He joined the faculty in 2024 after completing postdoctoral training in urology and cancer research. His academic journey includes a PhD from King George's Medical University and postdoctoral fellowships at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences and LSU Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Jaiswal's research focuses on prostate cancer mechanisms, treatment resistance, and targeted therapies. His work explores signaling pathways such as the Hippo pathway, cAMP/PKA signaling, and translational control via EIF4G1.
