Dr. Prasanti Kotagiri is a Senior Research Fellow and Laboratory Head in the Department of Immunology at Monash University, and a Consultant Nephrologist at Alfred Hospital. She holds a joint clinician-scientist role, focusing on B cell receptor repertoire analysis and immune transcriptome studies in aging, autoimmunity, and transplantation. Her work bridges clinical practice and research, leveraging technologies like CITE-seq and immune repertoire sequencing.
Education: MBBS (Monash University), BMedSc (University of Oxford), PhD (University of Cambridge). Awards include NHMRC EL1 Fellowship, Fulbright Fellowship, and Viertel Clinical Investigator Award.
