معرفی
Prof. Jamie Rossjohn is a Professor in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at Monash University's Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute. He is a leading expert in structural immunology, focusing on T-cell receptor (TCR) recognition mechanisms and immune system molecular basis. He holds prestigious fellowships including NHMRC Investigator L3 (2022-26) and ARC Australian Laureate (2017-21). His research has elucidated TCR self-association in T-cell development, HLA polymorphism in drug hypersensitivity, lipid-based T-cell immunity, and vitamin B metabolite antigen presentation.
- Roles: Professor, NHMRC Investigator L3 Fellow, ARC Australian Laureate Fellow
- Affiliations: Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute, Monash University
Research Interests: Structural biology of immunity, TCR-antigen interactions, MAIT cells, autoimmune mechanisms, and translational science. His work bridges basic biology with clinical applications, including drug hypersensitivity and infectious disease responses.
Awards: Royal Society Fellowship (2022), EMBO Associate Membership, multiple NHMRC/ARC grants. He has published >522 papers and mentored numerous researchers.
Outreach: Pioneered Monash Sensory Science exhibitions with Dr. Erica Tandori to make science accessible to visually impaired communities through tactile and multisensory exhibits.
