معرفی
Stephanie Gras is an Adjunct Professor (Research) in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at Monash University, affiliated with the Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute. Her research focuses on understanding viral recognition by the immune system, particularly mechanisms of viral escape and strategies for vaccine/drug development against pathogens like HIV and influenza.
- Primary affiliation: Monash University
- Research areas: Immunology, HLA, T cell receptors, viral infections
Her work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health and well-being. Notable projects include studies on HIV controllers' T cell responses and SARS-CoV-2 immune maintenance in populations.
Awards include the ARC Future Fellowship (2012), Georgina Sweet Awards (2017), and Monash Research Fellowship (2011).
Recent collaborations involve international teams studying viral immunology and antiviral strategies. Projects span HIV immunology, SARS-CoV-2 epidemiology, and lipid antigen presentation mechanisms.
