His research focuses on Gaucher disease, using deep clinical phenotyping to drive genomic studies, biomarker discovery, and conditional KO mouse models. Collaborations span global registries to study genotype-phenotype relationships and validate findings via scRNAseq/snRNAseq. Recent work explores links between Gaucher disease and common conditions like Parkinson's disease, hepatocellular carcinoma, and B-cell malignancies.
Key clinical trials include imiglucerase (long-term outcomes) and eliglustat (cardiac effects). Awards include Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine (2008), National Gaucher Foundation Contributions Award (2005), and recognition in Top Doctors of America (2005).
