Dr. Prakash A Shah is a Professor in Culture and Law at Queen Mary University of London's School of Law. He holds degrees from LSE (LLB, LLM) and SOAS (PhD). His work focuses on law, culture, religion, caste, and migration, particularly through the lens of the Comparative Science of Cultures framework by S.N. Balagangadhara. He has advised Indian communities on anti-caste legislation and critiques Western constructions of Indian social systems.
