معرفی
Poul Erik Hansen is an Associate Professor at the Department of Science and Environment Chemistry, Roskilde University. His research focuses on applying Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, theoretical calculations, and organic synthesis to investigate hydrogen bonding, tautomerism, natural products, photochemistry, and solar cell chemistry. Collaborations with international teams in Vietnam, India, and Poland highlight his global engagement.
Key research areas include structural elucidation of natural compounds (e.g., from Miliusa velutina), development of solar cell electrolytes, and analysis of biomolecules like mucus. He has pioneered methodologies combining NMR with Density Functional Theory (DFT) to study hydrogen bonding in biological systems.
- Education: DSc in Chemistry
- Collaborations: Universities in Vietnam (Hanoi), India (Goa), and Poland (Polish Academy of Sciences)
Notable achievements include the Ho Chi Minh City Gold Medal (2018), Dannebrogordenen 1st Class (2018), and Vietnam National University Campaign Medal (2018). His work bridges fundamental chemistry with applications in drug discovery and environmental analysis.
