Polly Morgan is a Professor of Family Law at the University of East Anglia (UEA), School of Law, where she is the department's family law specialist. She holds a solicitor’s practising certificate and is actively involved in legal practice, education, and public service. She leads UEA's multi-award-winning law clinic and runs a free family law advice service and the Norfolk Family Court Information website.

Polly's research and teaching focus on family law, particularly the regulation of adult relationships and the financial consequences of family breakdown. She has extensive experience in ancillary relief and complex trusts of land disputes. Her work bridges legal scholarship, practical legal training, and public legal education, emphasizing access to justice and transparency in family law proceedings.
Her recent publications include a major textbook, Family Law (Oxford University Press, 2nd ed. 2024), and numerous articles on financial remedies, conduct in proceedings, and child maintenance. Her scholarly output shows a consistent focus on practical family law issues, judicial decision-making, and legal reform.

Polly supervises student dissertations in family law and has led curriculum development for solicitor training courses with the Law Society of England and Wales. She is actively involved in public legal education through The Transparency Project, where she is a trustee and contributor, and through her blog posts and public lectures, including at the Women's Equality Party National Assembly.
