معرفی
Po-Han Chen is an Instructor in Pathology at Yale University's School of Medicine, specializing in hematopathology and molecular diagnostics. He holds an MD from Northwestern University (2017), a PhD in Molecular Biology (2015), and a BS from Yale University (2008). His research focuses on genetic and molecular mechanisms underlying hematologic malignancies, including myelodysplastic syndromes, leukemias, and lymphomas. He has contributed to studies on mutation detection, biomarker discovery, and structural biology of growth factor receptors.
- Board-certified in Pathology (AB of Pathology, 2021)
- Member of the Janeway Society and Hematopathology divisions
Key awards include the K12 Calabresi Immuno-Oncology Scholar (Yale, 2023), NRSA F30 Fellowship (NIH, 2013), and Fulbright Fellowship (2009). His work integrates clinical pathology with advanced techniques like next-generation sequencing and structural proteomics.
Recent publications address rare tumor cases (e.g., bilateral ovarian stromal tumors), genetic mutations in leukemias, and diagnostic challenges in acute promyelocytic leukemia variants. Collaborations with institutions such as Yale-New Haven Hospital highlight his translational research focus.
