Pit Jasper Lee is a Researcher at the Hertie School, contributing to comparative political economy research focusing on labour policies and industrial frameworks in OECD nations. His work examines automation's impact on employment, strategies for integrating low-skilled workers into vocational systems, and working conditions in logistics amid technological change.
He leads the Humans in Digital Logistics (HuLog) project, funded by Horizon 2020 (EU) and Germany’s BMBF, analyzing employment dynamics in Germany, Belgium, Poland, and the UK. Previously, he contributed to BMAS-funded studies on works councils and vocational training integration.
Lee holds an MPhil in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford and a BA in Governance from the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg. His research emphasizes policy responses to technological shifts and social equity in labor markets.
