Pippa Rogerson is a Professor of Private International Law at the University of Cambridge, where she has worked for over 30 years. She is a Solicitor and holds an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge (Cantab.).

Her research focuses on Private International Law, particularly the Conflict of Laws and its intersection with Company Law. Her work explores jurisdictional conflicts, applicable law determination in contracts, and post-BREXIT legal implications for international litigation. She has authored foundational texts like Collier's Conflict of Laws (2013, 4th Edition) and contributed extensively to journals like the Journal of Private International Law and Cambridge Law Journal.
Her publications demonstrate recurring themes in international commercial law, cross-border jurisdiction, and corporate legal frameworks. Notable works include analyses of BREXIT’s impact on London’s legal sector, the territoriality principle in private international law, and habitual residence in domicile law.
