Pip Weston is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Chester, affiliated with the Faculty of Science, Business and Enterprise and the Department of Marketing and Professional Development. With over 30 years of experience in Higher Education (HE), she specializes in Leadership, Business Management, and Work-Based Integrative Studies (WBIS). She leads the SLMDA MBA/MA/MSc postgraduate apprenticeship programs and oversees WBIS programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Additionally, she supervises DBA and DProf students in the CBS doctoral program and serves as a link tutor for academic partners Mountbatten Programmes Ltd., CPD Solutions, and Professional Development Foundation (PDF).

Research Interests: Focuses on negotiated work-based learning, organizational resilience, and enabling employees to thrive at work. Explores organizational ambidexterity, authentic leadership, and how HE learning facilitates these themes. Recent work includes hyperautomation in logistics and international internship program evaluations.
Teaching & Supervision: Teaches leadership, strategic management, and project management using the University’s WBIS framework. Supervises doctoral candidates and manages partnerships with industry collaborators.
