Nicky Shaw is a part-time Senior Lecturer at the Chester Business School, University of Chester, within the Faculty of Science, Business and Enterprise. Her academic role focuses on teaching and research in Marketing and Professional Development, particularly in charitable organisational design and ambidexterity. She has held positions as a visiting lecturer (2020) and transitioned to her current part-time role in 2024.
Dr. Shaw’s educational background includes qualifications in Social Work, Leadership and Strategic Management, and a Professional Doctorate titled *‘Charitable Organisations and Ambidexterity: Implications for Charity Sector Leaders’* (University of Chester). Her research expertise spans Charitable Organisations, Organisational Ambidexterity, Leadership and Management practices, and Work-based learning.
