Pip Trevorrow is a dedicated academic at Leeds Beckett University, serving as Course Director for Cyber Security and Digital Forensics within the School of Built Environment, Engineering and Computing. She teaches across all academic levels, from undergraduate to PhD, and actively supervises doctoral candidates, with six successful PhD completions to date.
Her research spans two interconnected domains: the use of wearable and smart technologies to promote healthy lifestyle behaviors—particularly in supporting women during pregnancy—and applied digital forensics in collaboration with law enforcement such as West Yorkshire Police. Her work includes developing tools for frontline officers to improve digital evidence seizure in cybercrime investigations.
She is affiliated with key research initiatives including the Leeds Sustainability Institute and the Cybercrime and Security Innovation Centre, contributing to evidence-based approaches in cybercrime policing and societal wellbeing through technology.
