Dr hab. Piotr Perkowski, prof. UG is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of History, University of Gdansk, specializing in contemporary Polish history through the lens of political economy and social history. His work bridges macroeconomic analysis with grassroots labor and societal dynamics.
- Research Focus: Economic and social transformations in 20th-century Poland, shipbuilding industry, Solidarity movement, and gender roles in state-socialist systems.
- Grants: Led National Science Centre project (2018–2021) and participated in National Programme for the Development of Humanities (2013–2016).
