Dr. hab. Piotr Przybysz, Professor at the University of Gdańsk, is a leading academic in the Faculty of Social Sciences, Institute of Philosophy, Department of Aesthetics and Philosophy of Culture. His research focuses on the philosophy of culture, contemporary aesthetics, and somaesthetics, with a particular emphasis on Stefan Morawski's aesthetic theories and their relevance to modern art. He has published extensively on topics like national identity, globalization's impact on art, and the intersection of education and aesthetics.

His research spans cultural identity, postmodern art trends, and the philosophical underpinnings of aesthetic globalization. Publications and conference presentations from 2004 to 2013 reflect his engagement with international academic communities, including the International Society for Aesthetics and SIETAR Global Congress. He has contributed to debates on cultural homogenization, stereotype persistence, and the 'end of art' theory, particularly in relation to Morawski and Donald Kuspit.
