Piotr Koprowski

Dr Piotr Koprowski is an Adjunct Professor at the Institute of History, Faculty of History, University of Gdańsk, specializing in Russian and Polish socio-philosophical thought, 20th-century Catholic Church history, pedagogical implications, and contemporary poetry. Employed since 2006, he holds a Master's (2000) and PhD (2005) in history from the University of Gdańsk.

Research Focus: His work bridges intellectual history and philosophical analysis, particularly examining ideological shifts in Eastern Europe. He has contributed to understanding Turgenev's worldview, Catholic intellectuals' roles, and the interplay between individual agency and societal influence.
