Tomasz Rembalski

Dr. Tomasz Rembalski is an Adjunct in the Faculty of History at the University of Gdańsk, specializing in the Division of the History of Gdańsk, Pomerania, and the Baltic Region. He serves as a practicing historian and educator, directing internships for the German Studies program.

His research focuses on Kashubian-Pomeranian village history until the early 20th century, including colonization patterns, socio-economic structures, Catholic Church influence, genealogical studies, and historical source editing. He specializes in analyzing minor nobility socioeconomic history in Kashubia during the 19th century.

Dr. Rembalski's publications cover medieval settlement patterns, judicial records of Kashubian nobility, genealogical studies of Gdynia families, and historical source editions. His work combines archival research with regional cultural preservation initiatives.
