Piotr Paleczny is a preeminent Polish pianist and educator serving as Professor at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music since 1997, where he also graduated under Professor Jan Ekier. He holds dual distinguished titles as Belvedere Professor and Honorary Professor at the same institution (2017), while concurrently teaching at Italy's Talent Music Academy in Brescia. His international prominence stems from winning Third Prize and Best Polonaise Performance at the 1970 International Chopin Piano Competition, launching a career featuring performances at Carnegie Hall, Royal Festival Hall, and Musikverein with leading orchestras worldwide.
