Piotr Lamparski

Dr. Piotr Lamparski is a researcher at the Institute of Geography and Spatial Organization of the Polish Academy of Sciences, specializing in geomorphology and geophysical methods. He has been affiliated with the Institute since 1991 and earned his PhD in Earth Sciences in geography in 2002 with a dissertation titled "Quaternary forms and sediments in the light of radar studies." His educational background includes Master's studies in geography with a specialization in geomorphology at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (1984-1990).

Lamparski's research focuses on the application of ground-penetrating radar (GPR) in studying Quaternary landforms and sediments, with particular emphasis on the geomorphology of the Polish Lowlands, geophysical methods for shallow structure analysis, and applications in archaeology and forensics.
